Sitting instead of sleeping
Tonight the twins went to bed at about 7:10pm. I laid them both down like normal, but since Nicholas has quickly become an expert at sitting from being on his tummy, he sits all the time in his crib now. Tonight he sat up and was babbling in there for about 40 minutes. I think he was falling asleep sitting up because his babbling was getting quieter and more spread-out. By about 8pm I went in their room laid him down, replaced his Nuk and I think he pretty much passed out. This new sitting skill will be hard for him to settle down. I'm waiting for the day they both sit in their cribs at nighttime keeping each other awake. THAT will be interesting. lol

How funny - he's practicing his skills. At least he wasn't sitting and crying - that's so sweet that he was just babbling away. He was probably trying to coerce Celia to sit and talk to him :).

Maybe Celia was laying in her crib thinking...."silly brother, you can lay down and talk...it's much more comfortable!"
