Sprinkler and Napkins

Friday afternoon Nicholas and Celia played in a sprinkler that Grandma Maus found for them from Menards. It hooks onto the hose and as the circle fills with water it sprays out of little holes. Celia was shivering, but she loves it. Nicholas wasn't fond of the cool water and stayed to the side.

Now that Nicholas and Celia are doing so well in their Booster Seats, one day I was feeling silly and gave them a napkin. Well, they liked it and have been wanting a napkin with their meals. lol
Sometimes they wipe their hands and faces when I remind them. Other times they wipe their food off. And sometimes Nicholas wipes his tongue. Its funny. Here is a short video of them with their napkins. p.s. the video is being silly, so it wasn't showing sometimes. If you can't see the video, you can click here.

This morning as I changed Nicholas' diaper he looked at me and said "poo poo" and then signed 'all gone'. He didn't have poo in his diaper and he was telling me.
Then after church they were playing outside and he bent down by his play ambulance and pointed to 3 balls on top of the ambulance (lights). He looked at me and said "Ball". It is so neat how he is using his speech now and sometimes signing with it to make a sentence or phrase!

  4. I'm glad they like the sprinkler. I'm not surprised "adventure girl" shivers her way through it. Nicholas was probably just trying to figure out how it worked. Can't blame him for not wanting to be cold. Maybe tomorrow,it's supposed to be hot again. Nice pics too

  6. That sprinkler thing looks fun! I just bought a baby pool with a sprinkler today at Target because everything was 50% off, but that one looks more fun for them to run through. Cute idea on giving them a napkin, Celia was so cute wiping her mouth. I think Celia & Kat would be good buddies :).

  7. The first picture of Celia in the sprinkler looks like she's in ecstasy. Love the black and whites and the video of the napkin. Maybe I can get some pictures of you and them together for your blog when I'm there this weekend.
