Having twins . . . thousands of dollars (in the first year)
Having someone your exact age to laugh with you. . . Priceless.
Silly kiddos!
It is so neat to have twins - but it must be pretty cool to be one. I think about how its so cool that they have someone to giggle with for something only a toddler or small child thinks is funny. We were at the Farmer's Market over the weekend and we often get many comments on our twins when we are out. Most common are, "You have your hands full!" "They must keep you busy!" "Glad its you and not me". But I always say "They are actually a lot of fun". And I noticed as we were out Jason would have that reply too. Its true, they are a lot of fun.
There was a lady talking to me as I waited in line to buy some vegetables and she said "well you got it over in one time didn't you. Thats nice, but I'm sure you are so busy". I told her, "Actually I kind of prefer it this way. Its been a lot of fun to have 2 at once".
Sure there are tough times, but I really would never change it for anything in the world. They are really awesome tots.
*Celia is really starting to talk more. Today she said: purple, bee, pee pee, down and bubble.
That is really cute. I wonder what they were playing? I love how one can laugh and that makes the other one giggle. It is fun having twins. I made the comment the other day that they laugh hard and play hard. For every fight there is a good ol' giggle fest :). I love hearing N&C's giggles!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Jill! I think its awesome that they always have someone that they can play and laugh with. I think thats something that singletons miss out on! It must be fun being a twin and I hope they continue to have such a close bond the older all our twins get!!!
ReplyDeleteLove those giggles! (Eli did too, he watched it twice yelling "Nicholas" and trying to feed Celia pretend grapes!!!!)
Oh how sweet is that! They are really playing off of each other. We had so many kids in our family, that it feels like I had kids the same age most of my life :-), but I'm sure it's not the same as being a twin. I'm enjoying watching them grow through your blog!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny how they find the same things funny. They look like they are pretend eating like a puppy. S&C do that and think it's hilarious! I love having twins. What a truly special blessing!!
ReplyDeletepriceless is the perfect word. reading your post today-- the first time i've been jealous of twins! i KNOW my caroline would love to have a twin to giggle and play with.
ReplyDeletejill, thanks for changing my view of twins! :)
N & C have brought so much joy into our lives (as all our Grandchildren do....and will)
ReplyDeleteSo cute Jill. I really like what you have done with the new additions to your blog.
ReplyDeleteSo cute Jill! Z&J are starting to play more with each other and lots of giggles...it really makes me happy that twins have each other as best buddies. :)
