Long, busy day....so the pictures in the camera will have to wait until tomorrow.
Today we took the babies to Costco and we were so excited about the double seats in the cart for the babies! I wish every store was like this!!
Overall, I must say I think both of the babies must've had a major growth spurt today because they were ravenous all day. Both seem to be almost completely over their colds! Yay!!! I am so happy the colds didnt morph into some other illness. Hopefully the fact that they still get breastmilk helped them recover quickly.
Anyway, they must have their appetites back in full swing now that they are healthy again. This was the menu today:
7:30 bottle (5 oz)
8:30 Breakfast: yogurt, applesauce, graham crackers
11:30 bottle (5oz)
12:00 lunch: baked beans, banana slices in wheat germ, cottage cheese
* snacking on cheese and cheerios all through Costco to keep them occupied. lol
4:30 bottle (7 oz)
4:45 dinner: salmon, berries, avocado slices
6:30 bottle (5 oz)
I guess writing out what they ate doesn't sound like a lot, but they ate a lot of each item!
They had Vegetarian baked beans today and LOVED them. I fed it to them in the afternoon so if they got gassy it would be during the day and not in the middle of the night. I don't recall anything gassy going on, so I think we have a new food (lots of protein too). It is a nice mushy finger food too.
They are getting so big! And SO fun!
Thankful for: 1. our little Christmas Tree 2. That we are able to buy gifts 3. That we live in America in a safe neighborhood

I'm thankful that they weren't gassy when you were gone tonight!! Ha Ha Oh by the way, Celia didn't think I should hang the bibs on the oven door handle to dry, she immediately tried to pull them down. I told her I don't have to do everything the way her Mommy does! Wink wink.
ReplyDeleteWhat?? Costco has carts with a double seat? I will have to check our Costco. I think we are going on Monday. We LOVE Costco for formula and diapers!! (and other food for us:))
ReplyDeleteOk, is that baby food or fresh food on that menu? Can this be? Will my babies be eating all of that in just a few months? It is so hard to believe! I hope I am not behind schedule. My babies are 6 mnths, 1 week and they get bottles plus rice cereal or jar baby food once maybe twice a day, if I fit it in! I really need to feed them more solids in a day:( Brandon gags whenever I try and spoon feed him while Faith LOVES it.
What a menu! I wish we lived a little closer to each other and you could give me tips on feeding my two. I am having a hard time with Brody, although today he went to town on pizza crust (not the ideal food, but I'll take what I can get!). I'm glad that they are recovering quickly - I'm sure you are too.
ReplyDeleteWe love Costco carts too. K&B love riding in the shopping carts. It's starting to get easier to shop with them now.
