Aaron Elijah was born Monday May 18th at 1:56am! Labor was SUPER quick and I was able to successfully deliver without any pain medicine and being a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). I felt something POP at about 11:45pm sunday night and the contractions were super intense immediately and about 1 min apart. By the time I reached the hospital at about 12:30am I was 7cm and baby was progressing fast! He was born at 1:56am, so it was a very fast labor. We figured the POP I felt was my water breaking, but there was no gush - just a very small trickle. I was able to labor with my doula, Vanessa. I don't think I would've done as well without her. She was awesome and calming. Even though the labor was fast, I'm so glad we had her. :)
Aaron was 7lbs 15 ounces and 20 1/4 inches. He looks a lot like Nicholas did as a newborn, but almost 2 lbs heavier. I'll have to post comparison pictures soon.
Aaron is nursing well - about 45 minutes long every 2-3 hours. He loves to be swaddled and sleeps well in between nursing sessions. He's a fussy little guy when he isn't happy. ha ha :)
We're very happy and Nicholas and Celia are doing wonderful with him. They came to the hospital and Celia is in LOVE with him. Nicholas is a little more hesitant but he held him and petted Aaron's head so nicely for a long time. We are a happy family of 5!

I am so happy for you and your family! I am glad everything went so well! How sweet Nicholas and Celia are already loving and holding him. That took Austin quite a while. I am so happy for you. Can't wait to see more pics!

But I am just so happy for you all and it looks like you had a nice delivery and are enjoying little Aaron. He is so adorable and I thought that he looks just like Nicholas, too!!! Enjoy every second b/c you know how fast it seems to fly by, right?? ;)
