UPDATE: unfortunately, we found out at 8 weeks gestation that the heartbeat stopped.
Some of you may know, but we are expecting our third little baby. I am 7 weeks along right now - much more time to go, but today we saw this baby's heartbeat. It was at 133 beats per minute (they like to see between 120-160 bpm). Everything looks good.
The little ring in the ultrasound photo is the yolk ring, not the baby. The nurse said they arent positive on the function of the yolk ring, but it disappears after a few more weeks. So the little guy (or girl) is next to the ring.
This baby was a big surprise to us. We needed help having Nicholas and Celia and our chances were extremely slim. So 2 months after stopping pumping with the twins, and surprise! So, our due date is October 6, 2008. Three under the age of 2 should be interesting, but I can do it. :)
Jill... you CAN do this. You'll have help from some and the support of many. You are such a great Mom; I'm sure God wanted you to be the Mom to another. You are all in my prayers. I love you.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS JILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness. I came to check your blog and the 1st thing I saw was the baby countdown in the corner and my jaw DROPPED and I screamed a little scream! LOL How exciting. I am so glad we met. I hope you blog all about your pregnancy and take pictures! I hope Nicholas and Celia get excited too! Have you told them you have a baby in your belly? I am so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteYeah Jill! I am so excited (and shocked) that our family is growing so quickly! It is so nice that I am able to share this with you and watch our children grow up together.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone can do - you can! You're such an amazing mama! Nicholas and Celia will love being big bro and sis.
ReplyDeleteoh you are so lucky. Sometimes I want another one, but I don't know. I would be delighted if we did get pregnant again. Sometimes I dream about a little girl. Congrats though. I can't wait to see him/her.
ReplyDeleteOh Yes, you can do this because you are an awesome Mommy! And Grandma will come and play like she does now :)
ReplyDeleteGrandma Maus is the anonymouse one---having a problem with my Grandma User name.

ReplyDeleteWow Jill!!!!! I'm thrilled for you!!! I hope you blog all about your pregnancy along with N & C! I feel bad that I didn't start my blog until after they were born so I didn't get to capture all the pregnancy stuff. I'm so happy for you and so excited to be part of the journey. You make me want to be pregnant again!!! EEKK!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Jill! How exciting! Thanks for sharing!
