Colors

I have been meaning to get a video clip of Nicholas saying his colors. He does such a nice job with naming and saying his colors - brown, black, purple, red, blue, yellow, white (orange comes out funny.... well so does red). He walks around the house matching colors to each other too. He really does a nice job! This last week has flown by and Jason was saying I'm slacking on the blog. :)
I plan to put something up soon!

Celia is talking a lot more too. She learns so much from Nicholas! I think her 2 year molars could be moving cause she has been weepy and clingy lately. I don't see anything back there, but I really don't know what else it is?

I'm 31 weeks now with our baby. We have the clothes washed and some things all set for the baby too (floor gym, swaddle blankets, bouncer seat, swing, etc). The big things aren't set up yet, but they are all set together. The baby moves a lot more now. As of friday he was head-down, but he has moved a lot in the last 24 hours, so I hope he didn't flip again. In 4 more weeks we start our birthing classes with the doula (she comes and does 3 private classes with us).

Our basement project is starting to move along a bit. We are having our electrical stage done this week. Jason is working so hard to try to make that extra money we need to pay for the labor for the drywall stage and eventually more stages after that. It will be SO nice once the basement is done! After the electrical stage we will be having new windows and the insulation put in and then the drywall. Then doors and flooring. We will still need cabinets for the dry bar area (which will just be cabinets and a small fridge). Eventually we will move on to the bathroom downstairs, but for now we'll focus on the large living space and small room (which will be the new toy room so the baby can have the other bedroom upstairs). Until then, the new baby will be rooming with us. :)

  1. I hope Celia is feeling better with her 2nd year molars soon. We're done after that, right?? I can't wait to see your basement all done. It sounds like such a fun project. Jason deserves a BIG pat on the back for all the extra work he is doing to get extra money for the basement. That's a good man right there :).

  2. Thanks for the update. How is Nicholas's runny nose? Did it get any worse? Hope Celia isn't catching it...but she was real cuddly last week - probably just a stage or teeth like you said. Looking forward to a videa when you get a chance.
