Nicholas after a jump (below) - opening his mouth gives him longer air time. It's a trick only young children know.

Nicholas has a pair of fun yellow crocs now. More birthday/christmas money was used to buy he and Celia each a pair. I bought one pair of yellow crocs in size 6/7 to see who it would fit best. It is a great size for Nicholas, but Celia needs a 4/5, so hers should be delivered on monday in pink. Nicholas really loves these shoes and wears them around the house. Thursday night I went to small group bible study and when I came home (Jason put the kids to bed) and checked on them in their beds, Nicholas was sleeping with his Crocs on. Jason said he wouldn't take them off and wanted to sleep with them. I guess its a testament to the comfort of crocs - even for toddlers!
I'm hoping these work well since they are waterproof (which could be nice if we work on potty training this summer/fall) and they slip on/off easily as we go in and out of the house when the weather warms up (as we are having snow fall outside right now - when will winter end??).
how fun!!!! nicholas looks so cute!! did you get a good price on them? where did you order? the boys just have generic ones, but the real ones are so much more comfy in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is Nicholas in his yellow crocs! He looks so big and grown up here. I like the yellow color. Kat has pink (metallic pale pink) in 4/5 that she wears all the time. I tried putting them in the washing machine too like you suggested and it worked wonders. They came out sparking :).
ReplyDeleteSo cute Jill! And funny that he slept with them because Z&J wanted to sleep with theirs too and just cried and cried when we took them off!
ReplyDeleteEeewww. I thought of how nice for going out when there are mud puddles... not potty training! Guess you have to be the toddler's Mommy to think of potty training and crocs. Cute shoes anyway.
ReplyDeletemaybe you should send your post to the croc company....bonus points? He sure does love them!
ReplyDelete32 weeks, geez the time is flying.
ReplyDeleteNicholas looks like such a big boy in these pics!
LOVE em! We have Crocs here, too, and L&D love them. Darrell and I actually have our own for around the house or outside and they are so comfortable. I actually got some that are flip flops and wore them every day last summer! http://shop.crocs.com/pc-2384-4-audrey.aspx?navcategories=3,122
