When Jason is gone at work and it is time to eat breakfast or lunch, Nicholas and Celia yell for Daddy to come eat with us. Its quite cute hearing "Daddy! Are you??? (meaning 'where are you?') Ummies! (meaning 'time to eat'). I had to grab a video of them this morning yelling for Daddy.
We tend to eat together most every meal (N, C and I) and every dinner usually all 4 of us sit down together. It just works better for us since we can clean up, get them ready for bed and then have time as a couple in the evenings. Although some nights when Jason and I plan to get something special for dinner (like take-out) we will wait until they are in bed so we can eat together and relax while we eat. The only down-fall of eating all 4 of us is I am up and down out of my seat quite a few times to get things. But, thats one of the 'perks' of being a Mom, right? More exercise? ha ha
We grow so fast. . .

ReplyDeleteOk, so you all should see Libby's hair b/c I bet it beats Celia's and Kat's for the craziest in the AM. Guess we should get her that 1st haircut sometime...
ReplyDeleteN&C are so stinkin' cute! This video is precious and so sweet. And what kind of Daddy do they have to leave them at home calling for him each morning? Poor Daddy probably can't wait to get back home to these 2 cuties. ;)
They are so sweet! Brenna has bad bedhead too. Love the idea of eating again later together...although I don't know if I could wait that late, I'd be starving (Braeden doesn't go to bed until 8:30), but will remember that in the future.
