1-2-3 Gymnastics

This is Nicholas' new trick - jumping. He kicks his feet out and lands on his butt. He does this in his crib. He tries to do this on the couch, but we stop him since its pretty dangerous. He does this on our bed too (we spot him and make him stay in the middle). Tonight he did it in the bath when Jason put him in. You'd think it would hurt his caboose to do that in the bath, but that kid has some butt cushions on him. lol

He can count 1-2-3 now too. Celia is putting 2 words together too, but she clams up for the video. She says so many things and then you ask her to repeat it and she won't. I think she knows what she is doing. I've heard her say 'hi kitty' so many times, but if you ask her to say it, she smiles and thinks you're funny. She is talking much more too! This is a great age.

  1. My two do the same in the crib - what is it about it that makes them want to jump and play? And they both want to be in the same one, like Celia. Nicholas does 1-2-3 really well. Especially the 2. It was very clear! And loved Celia's little bye at the end :)

  2. That is hysterical! My boys love to jump like that and land on their fanny's. It cracks me up! I love how Nicholas is counting, and Celia's farewell at the end is so cute!

  3. Celia and Libby are so alike in many ways. Libby will do the same thing-- I'll hear her say some words, but then she won't ever repeat them again. I've heard 2-words together, too! What a stinker. Nicholas is using so many words here-- that's great!!

As for Nicholas plopping on his tush, Libby did that in the tub, too, and landed on a toy. She got a bruise right on her caboose, so you know that had to hurt. She hasn't done it since, though. Drew holds on to the rail and jumps up and down like crazy. I know one day he's gonna jump right out of there!

  4. In the tub!!!??? Ouch! They have fun doing such simple things, don't they? We've never done that, just the plain old jumping trying to reach the ceiling!
