But Cabela's is a huge hunting/fishing/camping/general outdoors kind of store. It is huge. They have a great big freshwater fish aquarium and a mountain of mounted animals. So Celia and Nicholas had a great time seeing everything.
There were a lot of twin comments. The normal "double trouble", "you must be exhausted" comments (which I always try to say "actually they are just a lot of fun"). But there were 2 Grandpa type guys shopping for tree stands, and they were so excited to see Nicholas and Celia. And as I walked away I heard one of the 'Grandpas' say "She looks like she has so much fun with them". It was so nice to hear. :)
When we got back they were both hungry for lunch. Celia was eating her Peanut Butter and Jelly and got a look like "I just can't eat another bite!"
This was Nicholas trying to feed Gideon. It looks like Gideon is roaring, but he really is just yawning. lol

I'm so glad you posted about this becuase I was just going to email you and ask how you liked it. This looks so much more fun than Petsmart! We have a Cabela's about 30 min. away, I should take K&B. How nice that that grandpa made that comment. I usually get the best comments from the grandma & grandpa's out there! Gideon looks like a nice cat, he actually looks like a watch cat in all your pictures!
ReplyDeleteI dont see how you get your little ones to eat pieces of finger food. I went back to your older posts of when c & n were my sons age and they are eating finger foods. Lindon chokes when I give him pieces of food. I have been working with him by using the dried fruit pieces that dissolve in your mouth and he has been doing really good. He has two bottom teeth and the third is coming in and his two top teeth just broke through the other day. I wonder if it is because he is tongue tie. His frenulum is flexible though. Any tips would be wonderful. Cute pics too.
