Jason and I took Nicholas and Celia to a local boating shop to buy life jackets. We are taking a family trip soon to an indoor water park area. So, we thought it would be good to get the life jackets to have for the swimming season (what a joke - as I look at the temperature gage on my blog saying 5.9 degrees - HA!). Anyway...while we were there the owners of the shop had their 12 week old Springer Spaniel Puppy there. It was very cute - a little black and white pup! It cautiously came up to Celia and Nicholas, and then its little tail started wagging and its wet tongue started licking. Nicholas has a BIG interest in all things dog. He looks at dogs in books and always says his form of 'arf arf' when he sees dogs. So when this puppy came up to him, it was adorable. Nicholas was giggling harder than I have ever heard him and trying to kiss the puppy over and over. He loved it when the puppy was trying to lick his face. It was so cute! Celia thought the puppy was the greatest thing too. She was laughing so hard when the puppy was trying to kiss her. The owner kept thinking the puppy was being bothersome, but we were just enjoying how much fun our babies were having.
No....we aren't going to get a puppy, but if anyone has one they want to loan us for an hour or two, we are game! :)

How sweet! Isn't it fun to watch hear them laugh like that? We have an old cocker spaniel and the boys just love him!!!

ReplyDeleteWe can't get a pet unfortunately. My husband is allergic to fur. Otherwise, I would LOVE a puppy!
I thought you were getting a puppy too :). I agree, there is nothing more fun than watching them play with a puppy/dog. K&B just crack up any time a dog is near them. It's so fun to watch! Turtles & cats aren't quite the same - ha ha.
