Seems like safety days at our house lately. With the life vests and the bike helmets we found at the store last night. They had these bike helmets for ages 2 years - 5 years on sale for $2.99 from $9.99. So we decided to get them for next summer. We've been putting them in their life vests here/there to get them used to it for our waterpark vacation. They aren't big fans of them, but at least it won't be so foreign when we get there.

Nicholas testing out the durability of Celia's helmet while she tries to get it off!

Also, thought it would be fun to post 'Flashback Fridays' where I post pictures of the babies from their baby days (now into toddler days already!!!)
Here is Celia in the jumper as a little itty bitty, and now as a big almost 14 month old!! Crazy how much they grow!!!

And this was when Nicholas was working on tummy time.....

And now he can balance the family budget!!!! Amazing! Although we had to talk with him about the $50 Pacifier Budget.

Jill, N is a pretty smart cookie..I can't even balance the family budget!!! I love the life jackets! Can't wait to see how they do with them at the waterpark! They look so cute in them!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThose life jacket pictures are pretty funny :)! Good idea getting them used to it now. Wow, I haven't even thought of them riding bikes in the future, you guys are on the ball. And I love the flashback Friday, now I will look forward to that on Friday! Nicholas looks so tiny in that picture!
ReplyDeleteThese are great pictures. Love the life jackets, too. I cannot believe how much they've grown-- the flashback photos are great, so I'll look forward to checking every week!
ReplyDeleteToo funny with the calculator. He really looks like he knows what he's doing. Ummm...I found his "office machine" on the kitchen floor yesterday. Does he get a write up for that? Looks like Celia enjoys her life jacket a lot better than her helmet! Keep up the good blogging! Love, Grandma Maus
ReplyDeleteLOL! $50 paci budget:) Those are great pictures.
ReplyDeleteGood idea to have N&C wear their vests. You will have a great time at the water park! We sure did when we went to ours.
i love the flashback friday! So neat to see the difference layed out before you.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Weird that we seem to be on a role these days!! I have a big calculator too and had given it to the boys the other day because they love to get a hold of the remote and press it’s buttons. I sacrificed the calculator over my TiVo remote…I figured they'd play with the buttons like they do on the remote but all they did was bite and slobber all over it....now I have a sticky calculator with stuck numbers and my checkbook is not balanced. *L*
ReplyDeleteSo cute Jill! Way to go with making sure they are safe! I hope you have fun at the water park :)
