Mmmmm . Cat puke.

This afternoon Nicholas, Celia and I were playing on the livingroom floor. They were climbing on me and having fun poking my eyes and pulling my hair (of course, what else would they want to do?). As we were playing I heard a cat yaking in the kitchen and thought "okay, need to clean cat puke asap". Well, Nicholas walked away without me noticing right away and Celia was still climbing all over me. He walked back in the livingroom smacking his lips with a funny look on his face. I immediately put the puzzle together. As I said "Oh noooo. You didn't!" and ran into the kitchen to see, yes, there was indeed a pile of regurgitated cat food (it was like the cat ate some dry food and then threw it back up, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been - okay, I'm justifying...). I went back to Nicholas and smelled his breath. Yup, smelled like cat food. He had this look on his face like "That wasn't what I was hoping for, Mom". I quick offered him a drink of water (though I wished it had some sanitizer in it) to wash out the taste. There is no reason for him to not try whatever I cook from this date forward.
