Nicholas and Celia swinging outside. Nicholas will get very relaxed (he would swing for 45 min if you let him) and then he will close his eyes. He isn't sleeping, just being very 'zen' as we call it. :)
Today we went on a nature hunt on the sidewalk. We went the other day as well and it went nicely. So today they took a little bag to put treasures in. We found: a stick, a dandelion and a crinkly leaf from last fall. They did pretty well walking around. On our way home a police man was sitting in his car looking for speeders and he rolled down his window and said, "I suppose they are too young for baseball cards, but maybe they like ice cream". So he gave them each a free coupon for an ice cream cone at Dairy Queen. :)
We grow so fast. . .

I love Nicholas in the swing! He looks like he is in deep thought!!! They did great walking on the leashes too!!! They didn't seem to mind at all! Looks like you have great weather! We either have to go out earlier and late around here lately! What a nice police officer!!! How fun to get free ice cream coupons! I guess thats another joy of living in a small town!

ReplyDeleteI love the leashes, too! They are getting so big and it was so sweet to see them taking a nature walk. Do you like the leashes-- are they helpful for you?
girl, you are so brave. I would think twice about taking them on a walk by myself, let alone video taping at the same time! What a Mom!
ReplyDeleteI was getting sleepy just watching Nicholas in the swing. And I had to laugh at your moms comment, you are brave! They look so cute and well behaved though. They must really enjoy their walks. How nice of that police officer, that was really sweet.
ReplyDeleteYour Mom is right! I was going to say, ok you have both leashes and the video camera and don't tell me you have the baby you watch in the pouch too!!! LOL. I love how when you ask Nicholas where the ants are he does a full circle and twirls in his leash :-) He has the same one as Summer!
