Every night before bed the babies get 1 bottle. Otherwise it is all cup drinking during the day. However, it is a fight each night to get Celia to drink anything from her bottle. So today I was thinking about it and wondering if she really didnt like the taste of the formula. They had expressed breast milk until 10 mos and then breastmilk/formula bottles until 11 mos. Then they transitioned to cups easily at 11 mos (the straw-cups) but wouldnt take formula in the cups, so they have been drinking goats milk (at meals) and water (in-between and at snacks) during the day.
So tonight I warmed goats milk in her bottle and she easily drank (Guzzled) 5 oz quickly. no fight.
So I think she has decided she knows what tastes best to her. I am glad she got a nice drink before bed. :)

How nice to be done with formula. It probably doesn't taste that great and I would rather have milk too!
ReplyDeleteWe're switching to milk in the next few weeks. The boys just are NOT intersted in sippy cups with formula, water, or juice in them. I'm hoping milk will work...*fingers crossed* We're just having the worst time with the sippy cups and I think I've spent a small fortune trying to fine some that they like...without luck so far. :(
