Today I put them in their highchairs, taped some paper down and gave them crayons. I drew along with them to help them with the idea of it. They seemed to get it. We tried a month or so ago and it didn't work, but what a difference a month or so can make. Here are pictures of their art session :)
Look at this concentration - Nicholas sticks his tongue out sometimes when he is thinking real hard.

How fun! So they didn't try to eat the crayons? That's the first thing I think mine would do. What a creative thing to do, once we get passed the eating everything stage I'm going to try that!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! They are quite the little artists:) I saw a cat, a heart, a sun and rain drops. LOL
ReplyDeleteToo cute. I tried to do this once with Austin, he just wanted to eat the crayons. I think he will be ready in about a month.
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!!!! SO CUTE!!! We tried this about a month ago...they got crayons at a resturant and tried to eat them. I think we should try again. A social worker friend of mine said to try them with a magna doodle. I think I'll try both! At least with the crayons I can keep the art!
