Lilypie 3rd Birthday Ticker Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

Do they check for piggy tails at 12 mo appointments?

Because I think mine will surely sprout some soon. A swirly, twirly pink fuzzy tail.
This was the food EACH ate today

7:45 breakfast : 1 slice toast with Peanut butter, 1/2 cup of diced pears, 1/2 cup of yogurt, milk

9:30 snack: 1/2 cup of cheerios and puffs, water

11:30 lunch: 1 cup tofu, 1/2 avocado, applesauce, 2 scoops of cottage cheese, cooked carrots, milk

1:45 snack: crackers and 1/2 a banana, water

3:30 snack: lots of cheddar cheese cubes, 1/2 nutrigrain bar, cranberry juice

4:45 dinner: roasted chicken, cooked carrots, blueberries, graham crackers, milk

6:30 4 oz bottle

I feel like they are getting MORE hungry lately. Maybe from the extra activity they are doing - the cruising. But at 12 mos arent they usually starting to slow down?

Anyway, Today Celia has been SO clingy. She wants to be held ALL the time. I think it is her 2nd tooth making her this way. But, on a good note, she is clapping more now (so cute) and she can hammer balls through the holes on the Discovery Toys Boat. I am impressed since the toy was labled 18+ mos! She and Nicholas can both pat their tummies when you ask "Where is your tummy?". Nicholas started that at about 9.5 mos, but now Celia does it too. They are so cute! I love seeing them learn new things.

Our gray cat, Gideon, is so happy to spend time by the babies too. He loves to sit on the soft cube and watch them play. he will stay there when the babies stand by him and pull and pat him (they arent very gentle either).

Celia loves to climb too. She climbs Mt. Daddy in this picture.

Since Jason works from home he has his office in the basement. We have a cat door in the basement door for the cats and both Nicholas and Celia will crawl and look through the cat door to try to see Daddy. It is so cute.

And finally, Nicholas has figured out that he can look outside on his tippy toes. He is getting pretty tall! This morning he watched the garbage truck collect the garbage.

And last night I ended up going to the little boy who was talking in his room. Luckily he about passed out from exhaustion when I rocked him for a few minutes and then slept through the night. Silly baby!

  2. I like the new blog look! And I love that picture of them at 2 weeks. We have that same soft cube too, that's funny that your cat sleeps on it. Your two are so smart - that's amazing that they point to their tummy when you ask. I love it when kids do that, and point to their noses too. It's so darn cute. Man, they are just getting big. They seem like real toddlers now.

  3. Oh I LOVE your blog header picture! They are so sweet! I can't see the pictures on your post because I am at work and they are blocked if you use photobucket or a site like that. I will look when I get home:) Are they 12 months already? When is their birthday? That is a lot of food:) And so healthy. I want to follow your feeding guidelines.
