Yesterday it was kind of hot and muggy in the afternoon so I could've taken their baby pool out and ushered buckets of warm water from the house out to fill the pool, but lets face it, I'm not Super Mom. So instead I thought I'd just use the hose. I put the sprayer to 'mist' and they loved it. I just held it in place so they could come and go as they wanted without me forcing them to get wet. Since this was impromptu they were in their clothes when we started. So this little clip shows them stripped down to diapers (I think Celia in shorts) and still in their shoes (their shoes are washable, so I supposed it was fine). This was the 3rd time they wanted to go in the water. They were pretty drenched, but they had fun :)
*reminder~ pause the music :)
Nicholas was quite the cranky-pants today. After his extremely short nap he just couldn't handle his emotions all afternoon. He was over-tired and his mood was like how he gets when his teething hurts. He still only has 6 teeth! He has some major teething to do. Celia has 11 teeth already! She's about done for a while.
Anyway, Nicholas was so grumpy I just needed to get them out of the house. So we went to the grocery store. He was good until we were leaving and the bagger looked at him. Then he lost it. Ay yi yi...
Celia has been in a very cuddly mood. She's been a mommy's-girl lately. Which is really sweet. She plops herself down on my lap all the time and wants to be held. She's growing up so fast. Her expressions and body language are just hilarious. She is like a little 5 year old trapped in a 1.5 year old's body sometimes.
Nicholas had some Motrin for dessert tonight, so hopefully he sleeps well and has a better day tomorrow!

Motrin for dessert, I love it! That's what K&B had for dessert tonight :). The sprinklers look like fun, what a good idea!
ReplyDeleteMotrin for dessert here too! That fine mist on the sprinker was a good idea. I have that same head so I think I'll try that with my guys too!
ReplyDeleteCute video! I can't wait until my twinkies can walk around.
ReplyDeletePoor Nicholas. Hope he feels better:)
That was so cute Jill. They both looked like the loved the mist spray. Of course, I'm not a lover of being sprayed by cold water, so I had goose bumps watching the video. Hope Nicholas' teeth pop through without much more pain and grumpiness.
ReplyDeleteOh that was a cute viedo and a good idea! Hope N is feeling better, poor kiddo! You come up with the best ideas to keep them busy. They must be so tired by the end of the day :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun!
ReplyDeleteWe have Motrin for dessert sometimes too!!!!! :) Looks like they had a great time in the sprinkler! We have a video of my nephew about the same age doing that I just love it! We need to do that for the boys too!
